402 Payment Required | Payments and Real World Asset Tokenization
Design innovative solutions for seamless digital payments and the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs) on the blockchain. Go beyond traditional models by exploring smart contract-based payment flows, asset-backed tokens, or decentralized finance (DeFi) integrations.
The HTTP 402 Payment Required status code was reserved for future use.That future is now. We challenge you to build the next generation of web services by implementing a native monetization protocol directly into HTTP.
Create applications that leverage the BSV blockchain to respond to API calls, which includes a request for a micropayment. Once the client sends the payment on-chain, the service unlocks the content or completes the request.
426 Upgrade Required | The Autonomous M2M Economy
We’re building the next generation of the internet, where IoT devices, AI agents, and autonomous systems interact securely and economically.
This isn’t just about connecting machines; it’s about creating a true machine-to-machine (M2M) economy powered by micropayments, verifiable data integrity, and decentralized identity.
When your system designed for human interaction tries to handle this new world, it throws an error: 426 Upgrade Required. The old web’s request-response model is obsolete for the high-volume, real-time, value-driven communication of an M2M economy.
Don’t just acknowledge the error – answer the call to upgrade. The solution lies in combining purpose-built M2M protocols like MQTT or CoAP or DDS for real-time communication with BSV blockchain as the single source of truth for value, data, and identity.
